This exceptional Green Tip Gesha offers an explosion 💥 of floral and citrus flavors. Expect delicate notes of jasmine 🌿 and honeysuckle 🌼, followed by a vibrant mix of passion fruit 🥭 and orange blossom 🍊. The finish is remarkably complex, with hints of yuzu 🍋 and pink grapefruit, leaving a lasting impression on your palate.

The cherries for this coffee were meticulously handpicked at peak ripeness 🍒 and sorted using mountain spring water. 💧 The fermentation process involved two phases: an initial 24-hour fermentation in open tanks, followed by 72 hours of anaerobic fermentation 🛢️ in sealed tanks. Afterward, the cherries were sun-dried ☀️ on raised beds for 25 days, resulting in a beautifully balanced and complex cup. 🎯
The Story Behind Abu Coffee:
José Lutrell, the founder of Abu Coffee, transitioned from a successful engineering career to embrace his family’s legacy 🌱 in specialty coffee farming. The farm, named after José’s late father and lovingly referred to as “Abu” (grandfather) 👴, is located in the lush, tropical microclimate 🌿 of Boquete, Panama. Abu Coffee has quickly gained recognition, earning multiple accolades 🏅 at the prestigious Best of Panama (BoP) competition, including consistent wins with their prized Gesha varietals.
